POSITION: Financial Analyst

SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

LOCATION:  Newport, NC
                                           
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

STATUS: Full-Time
                  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will support the Vice President of Finance on key projects and analyses.  Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare management reports emphasizing historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends
• Perform actual to budget variance analysis while highlighting risks
• Plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems
• Play an integral role in the development of annual plans and periodic updates as needed

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: A BS or BA in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA preferred.  3+ years of financial analysis experience also required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access.  Must have exposure to top-tier accounting systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards) and an understanding of financial reporting systems (i.e. FRx, Hyperion, Crystal Reports)
