Formed in 1996, Big Rock Sports is currently made up of five divisions in six locations across the country. Collectively, these locations service the 50 states, the Caribbean, and nine foreign countries. Benefits Summary

At Big Rock Sports, we understand that the health and welfare of our associates and their families directly impacts our business.  That is why we offer to all regular, full-time (30+ hours) associates a highly competitive and comprehensive benefits package. 

Most benefits are available to eligible associates on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous service unless otherwise stated below. 

Medical (pre-tax)
Big Rock Sports pays the majority of the cost for employee coverage, however coverage is also available for spouses and/or eligible children.  Associates have two plans from which to choose.  Coverage is provided through PPO networks which are determined based upon an associate’s geographic location. 

Medical coverage also includes a three-tier prescription benefit, provided through Express Scripts.  Co-pays range from $5 to $40, depending on the drug.  A 90-day mail order prescription program is also available.

Dental (pre-tax)
Associates pay the cost of dental coverage.  Two plans are available to choose from, one of which includes orthodontia.  It is not necessary that associates carry our medical coverage in order to qualify for dental coverage.

Flexible Spending Accounts (pre-tax) (FSAs)
FSAs are designed to allow the use of pre-tax dollars to pay for health and/or dependent child care expenses not covered by insurance.  In 2008, Big Rock Sports introduced the use of a FSA debit card for health care accounts which can be used at the point of purchase wherever credit cards are accepted.

Wellness Program
The cost of providing health care continues to increase each year and Big Rock Sports truly believes that our wellness program is the most effective way of controlling the costs for both associates and the company.  This is a free, voluntary benefit to all associates and includes annual testing, as well as information, encouragement, and challenges throughout the year.

Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
Big Rock Sports provides basic life/accidental death & dismemberment insurance at no cost to associates.  Voluntary life insurance is available for purchase for associates and their spouses and/or eligible children.
